Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna
This scheme is for those who do not have a permanent house of their own. EWS, LIG, MIG are eligible as per their following income.
- EWS– Annual Income up to 300,000.
- LIG– Annual Income from 300,000 – 600,000.
- MIG– Annual Income from RS. 600,000 – 1200,000.

1. (BLC)-Beneficiary-Led Construction
For EWS families, those who have vacant land will be given financial help and if they do not have land in the state, they will also be provided land for living by the state or union.
2. (AHP)-Affordable Housing in Partnership
This part will provide financial assistance to EWS beneficiaries to acquire ownership rights of houses built by State/UTs, public and private companies. Small construction work will be allocated an independent grant of 1000 sqm/unit.

3. (ARH)-Affordable Rental Housing
This sector is focused on building rental houses for working women, industrial workers, and other beneficiaries. It is divided into two parts, first is using the existing vacant houses and second is building new housing for rental. For the new project using new technology, a Subsidy of Rs. 3000 per square meter will be given.
4. (ISS)-Interest Subsidy Scheme
This is an affordable home loan for EWS/LIG/MIG families, where a subsidy of 4% interest is given on loan up to Rs. 25 lakhs. This subsidy is given in installments of 5 years. There is a provision of a maximum subsidy of Rs. 1.80 lakhs. This is applied for at the same time when you take a home loan from a bank or NBFC.
